Holiday Catch Up #3: Christmas Dinner

Since my sister and my brother's families were spending most of Christmas Day with their respective in-laws, we, along with Mum & Dad, headed over to have Christmas dinner with our pastor and his wife, Paul and Sharon (he's also my former boss, and one of my best friend's dads...yes, it's complicated!). They weren't going to be able to have any of their kids around this Christmas and so invited us to celebrate with them. We had such fun and a delicious meal. Thank you so much Paul and Sharon!

Because the morning had turned out to be such a rush, poor old Jack still had not opened his presents or stocking from us by the afternoon! So I took it all with us to Paul and Sharon's house and we had fun while waiting for lunch to be ready.

Jack's first Christmas stocking
(he was much more interested in chewing on one of the puzzle pieces
than enjoying any of the other toys he got!)

Enjoying the cozy fire inside and snow falling outside

Paul, Dad and Mum looking through the book that we gave my parents
for Christmas. It's a picture album of the three grandchildren over the past year.

All of us around the table, minus poor Sharon who was slaving away in the
kitchen to produce such a lovely meal for us!
