We went for our big ultrasound today. Here he is:
Baby boy at 18 weeks (16 cms, 11 oz)
It was such a wonderful experience, especially since the last time we saw him was as a little blob at 8 weeks. He looks like a real baby now and was moving all around. We got to see his little mouth sucking and he opened and closed his eyes and moved his eye balls around! Too cute!
The ultrasound tech was really great and explained exactly what she was doing as she measured and checked for different things, which was really fascinating. Everything looks perfect and apparently he's got quite a nice fat tummy!

How fun to see your baby, now that he is looking like a real baby and not a blob. I remember leaving our sonogram appt. with Mara Kate feeling amazed as well! God's creation is amazing. Glad everything looked perfect.
