Lots of Pretty

Being a public holiday today, our office was closed. Hooray! That meant a day at home for me, doing my new favorite thing...

All about ribbons, stamps, pretty papers and lots of glue. Today was especially productive, and several little armies of cards are now drying on the dining room table. Off to clean up!

Weekend fun

This past weekend our friends Roman and Shanon (and little Ellie) came to stay with us. While they were attending a wedding reception on Saturday night, Ellie stayed with us. Michaela also dropped in while Ness and Sean were out for their anniversary dinner. Here they are:

We didn't plan anything special for New Year's Eve because Andre was supposed to have surgery the day before. However, since that didn't take place, some friends and family came by, pulling Christmas crackers and drinking champagne to welcome in 2009! Fun times :)

Michaela's Baptism

Michaela was baptized this Sunday, as Mum and Dad were in town. Mum made her a gorgeous gown to wear for it.
